Rahma Clinic was the first of its kind established by the Muslim community in Minnesota. A growing need from those unable to afford healthcare and unqualified for health insurance in the community gave rise to the idea, and through the Muslim Community Center's (MCC) generosity, a space for the clinic was made in order to provide basic medical care to those in need. Since its inception in 2007, the clinic has been staffed by volunteer physicians, medical assistants, and social care specialists who kindly take time out of their busy schedules to contribute to the clinic. The clinic is open on Saturday mornings, year-round to provide medical support and guidance, and welcomes everyone regardless of faith or background.
